To list or not to list

Ok, I’ll freely admit I am totally overwhelmed with things to do.

My house is still turned upside down from getting new carpet installed, I am trying to refinish parts of the hardwood floor, and we still have Christmas decorations up. Everywhere I turn, a pile of stuff is staring back at me. They are all shouting, “Look at me! Do me first!”

So, logic would dictate that I make a list of things to do. But, I am not going to do that.

Why in the world would the queen of to-do-lists not make a list this time? Because it would be too long. Really. It would be so depressing I would not be able to get started.

In this case, I think that because it is obvious that things have to be put away neatly, I will just move from room to room de-piling as I go. When things are closer to being picked up, then you better believe the list of all lists will come out to get our house ready to sell.

oh I so get that! I made a to do list for January and it nearly knocked my socks off. So much that I haven't looked at the list in days! But now that the kids are back in school...I know the list has to come out. Maybe I should just move room to room...I like your idea! Feeling your pain and thinking of you often,
