It is Black Friday! I am debating whether or not to venture out in to the fray. I did it the past two years and had wonderful experiences. The crowds had moved on by the time I got there, but the items I wanted were still available. I was back in bed by 8 a.m. both years.
What is different this year is the economy and our need to not spend. So:
A. Do I stay home and avoid getting caught up in the shopping frenzy?
B. Do I plunge in and keep breathing deep to stay an unstressed mom in the middle of it all?
C. Or, do I wait and see if the dogs wake me up so early anyway that I might as well go shopping anyway?
I’ll choose C so I don’t have to stress about deciding the night before!
Update: We all slept in! I am sure my bank acount is much happier for it.
